    R&D SHO anti-cavitation cone?????

Is the $90 R&D SHO anti-cavitation cone worth it for a Stage 1 SHO??

I am interested in hearing your opinions pros/ cons... Any gains???

I think it is worthwhile for a stage 1 ski. I notice some decrease in cavitation with mine. As long as you aren't expecting a miracle I think you will be pleased with it.

I would say yes. It helped on mine, which is somewhere around a stage 2+.

It will stop the cavitation out of the hole. Both mine had cavitation from a dead stop when they were stock.

It will HELP with cavitation not totally eliminate it.

Fasttimez was asking about a stock ski. Judging by how much it helped on my stage 2-ish ski, I'm pretty sure it would virtually eliminate it on a stock ski. With the mods I have, there's less cavitation than there was stock. Before the cone, there was more cavitation than stock. On a modded ski, no, it will not eliminate it, but will definitely help.
