    wise to use yama ring free every fill

    i starting using ring free every fill last year cause it sat 3+ years and it ran awesome but for this year am I over treating it? I use few oz.s per 5-10 gallons. or just keep on doing what I have last year

    If its used to treat ethanol gas, it can't hurt. I add an oz of startron every tank, because not doing it can be more harmful imo

    Anything to treat ethanol is a good idea. I didnt believe it until i had to rebuild my carbs. The crap i found in there turned out to be directly related to ethanol. Theres some good posts on here about it if you search.

    idk if it does ethanol.... its called ring free yamaha makes it

    It's just yet another additive designed to keep rings from carboning up and sticking. IMHO preventing the issue to begin with (using a quality oil) is a better idea than trying to use a preventative/solution after the fact.

    I run Amsoil. so idk. if its (high enough) quality
