I guess chew spit and cell phones do not mix very well
Well, I went out to the car to go on an errand, and I noticed that my cellphone was under about 3" of chew spit I had left in a cup in the car. It must have fallen off the center "dealie" and down into the cup!
It was on when this happened.
I had all my contacts in that phone and a bunch of video games for the kids $5-9$/each. I assume that Verizon does not have a "chew spit" insurance policy for their phones.
What are the chances of me drying the Copenhagen out of it and it working again.
If I need to get a new phone, I wonder if I lose all the games, or will Verizon have records of the downloads and let me download them again..........
I need to find a flip phone that will let me back up my contacts to a website of some sort......
Cell phone toast or no toast?
Maybe Hoss can give me some advice on this I bet

Rule of thumb - Anytime you dunk a cell phone remove the battery immediatly! Resist the temptation to put it back in until you're absolutely sure it's bone dry inside! I've had much experience with this. Well with water anyway!

Good luck with them letting you download again without charging you again. Those suckers man! They eat you alive in charges!

Next time you get a cell phone look into the backup assistant. I have verizon and it backs up my phone every time there is a change in the
phone book. If you ever lose or break the phone you can just download your addrwss book to the new one. I think it cost like $2 per month. Well worth it IMO.
