    P0222 fault code

Does anyone what that code means on an rxt is? Ski has no power and won't go above 5400rpms max. Check engine beep and lite come on intermittently. Guessing the problem could be the sc, spark plugs or fuel injectors. Changing plugs is easy enough, is there an easy way to check the others?

I sometimes have problems with the connector block underneath the dash. It starts with bump or jolt and she's throwing several codes and behaving erratic. I beach the ski, raise the deck, remove the storage and reach in there and squeeze the connectors together. I'll feel a slight click and I'm good. Just an FYI for you if that's not the problem. The only reason I offer this is sometimes I see a similar code to the one you wrote down, but I'm not 100% sure. It throws several codes and behaves somewhat similar to your ski when it acts up like that.

    Hope you get it solved.

FWIW - my manual says P0222 is ECM - TAS (throttle Accelerator sensor) 2 fault (short circuit to GND or open)

Thanks for the replies...I'll check the connector and maybe the plugs but anything will require a trip to the dealer cause I don't have the tools/manuals to work on these 4 strokes...we'll see what the problem/estimate is though cause the cost might make me learn...

Ray I had this on my vacation also, unplug the connectors on the TPS - Throttle Position Sensor and it might reset. I was able to get it to reset with a CanDoo, with no problems since.

That RPM, is usually tell tale for a SC failure... Pull the intake hose off the charger, and see if the wheel spins freely. If tight, then u may still be ok.

Thanks JT - but I have no manual - where is/are the TPS connectors?

That's my fear pscho but getting to anything in the engine compartment requires raising the top deck and then removing the engine cowel...a lot of work that I just don't have time for at the moment simply to confirm you're right. If I can reach the TPS connectors (once I figure where they are), I can try what JT is suggesting. Otherwise I'll have to take it to the dealer to see if they can figure it out easily...
