    RXP-X 260 Impeller Recommendations

I am ready to upgrade the impeller (and intake) on my 2012 RXP-X 260. I have done a lot of reading here on green hulk and it appears that many riders are using the Solas 15/20R for the stage I setup. When I went to place the order I noticed that the Solas application chart recommends a 15/22R for the RXP-x stage I and a 15/20R for the RXP stage II. Now I am confused and am not sure which one to buy.
Feedback from RXP-X 260 riders regarding the impeller you are running and your top speed/RPMs would be greatly appreciated.

well it kind of depends on what mods you have or if you are going to mod your ski at all, if you are planning to ref lash your ecu to rev your engine higher lets say 8800-9000 rpm you will need valve train mods and the solar 15/20, the 15/22 is not able to spin those kind of rpm. if you aren't modding your ski there is no sense in changing out the impeller, you need to decide what you are looking to gain before you chose your prop

I have the vech tuner and am running the 48# 8350 Beta tune. I am topping out at 70mph @ 8000 RPM. I now want to go Stage I, Riva or Fizzle intake (haven't decided) and Solas impeller. I was hoping to use more of the 8350 rpm limit with by going to a different pitch. I am confused what I should start with, the 15/20R or the 15/22R.

15/20r. Best all round prop. I have mine doing 75mph + on barely any mods!

    C Doo,
What are you getting for RPMs at 75mph?

That's just what i'm looking for. I'm not ready (yet) for any valve-train work.

15/20 Solas SRZ CD get nozzle rings... No need to pitch a lot.
I go up and down 100-200 RPMs at my different riding spots.
Better to change rings then props I'm thinking.

I did my retainers just for peace of mind. Remember that on take off and when u come unhooked, u will spin 8600 with the 8400 or 8350 tune.
