    piston size

    ok so i have a 96 slx 780 and the mag cyl went lean at some point im guess it had something to do with the peice of balloon ... ya thats right it was pink in the fuel pump.anyhowall i have seen is oversized pistons do i need to have an oversized piston if i hone out the cyl ...im only doing a light hone nothing major i really dont even need to it looks pretty good i just figured i have it off

    ok well someone on here has to know about the oversized pistons also do i need to purchase a 780 cyl head or are they the same as the 750 they seem to be all over on ebay but when you type in for a 780 there are only a couple and everyone wants 50 or more

    Need a 780 head to go with a 780 jug. You should be able to find a standard piston kit from SBT or any other power sports stores online....

    If it's oversized already, you need that size. A light hone isn't going to remove enough material to warrant the next size larger piston.
