Is the bow suppose to ride low?

I am concerned with how low my bow sits in the water. At idle ( no wake zones), water is steady rolling over my front bumper. In the rough stuff i nose dive so much i almost need scuba gear (JK). It doesnt do it while accelrating, but every other time it does.
This is my first ski, so this may be normal but my friends 300 doesnt do it quite as bad as mine but he has trim and stuff.
I had taken everything out of the front compartment besides the fire extinguisher, but that changed nothing.

What would be a good way to alleviate this or do i want to? It seems like it needs to ride atleast a inch higher.

I believe it's just the design of the hull, I have an 08 250x that does the exact same thing.
If I remember right the 300's have a slightly raised nose and front hood to stop the water coming over at low speeds.

My STX15 is the same way. It's one of my only complaints about the ski.

That's normal it's the reason the ski is so good in the chop the angle of the hull and deep V. If you really want the nose up you can buy a Tbm ride plate or 2degree wedge. But stock really is the best.

The amount of gas in the tank makes a big difference with my 250X at no-wake speed, my guess is that it is the difference between the OPs ski and his friends

No question bow of my 250 and 260 noses right into water at slow speed, thats why I dont open bow and start rummaging in storage bin while coasting to a stop. Ive taken on a few quarts that way! But I carry a lot of weight in bow and the little submarine action never bothers me. In fact, I like doing 90 deg submarine turn and having bow rise out of water and scoot like a wild weasel.
