Red, for what it is worth I have mine still installed on my race ski. All fresh water lakes. I think it is part of why I have as many hours as I do on my ski with all the abuse I have put it through.

hello there lasportsman, so are you saying that it is good thing you have one fitted, and have had no effects due to having one fitted.

I can not say for a fact that it is a factor in my great service from my ski but if it is there and my ski has been so good to me I will not change it. I still feel the ski is running as good as new. I have never had any scares with a plug getting stuck. When I pulled my engine out at 70 hours I looked inside both the intake and exhaust ports and all my valves were looking good. Quite a few ofthe hours put on my ski were salt water riding. I had a stuck plug on my 07 so if this is what this filter is there to keep from happening I use it. It obviously does not take away any performance.

The grate shipped out last week said 6-10 days so you should be seeing it this week red. I inculuded the speed-o shim in the package but i dont recommend using it best and safest way is a SCOM.
