Hey guys should the carbon ring have very little play on the shaft or should the ring seal to the driveshaft like a glove? thanks for your help!

The carbon ring does not touch the driveshaft. It seals against the floating ring (hat) and the bellows seals the carbon ring and the thur the hull fitting.
