94 SL 750 PSI Genesis mods barn find

Hi everyone I'm new to the site. After purchasing an old polaris SL750 ski most of my online research led me back to your forums to obtain info. This SL750 hasen't been ran since 99'. Its been wrapped up and garaged since. Apparently the last user of the ski pulled it apart to build a PSI Genesis set-up with all the goodies then passed away. From what I have found there is not a lot of info about old PSI Performance products online(schematics/manuals). I searched your site and found the sweet old adds and those are awesome! It looks like the past owner read the adds too and bought everything. The block seems to be ported, I have the PSI cylinders, PSI S93 Genesis 3 heads, new wiseco pistons/rings, PSI carb spacers, Mikuni 44mm carbs, Ocean pro vortex Air cleaners/k&n filters, and full PSI triple pipe set-up.
Everything is clean and ready to be put back together. I plan on calling one of the contacts that was listed on an old thread and call PSI for info directly this week.
I'm just not sure I should use the old o-ring's. They look fine but I'de like more opinions on this subject. Also should I buy a Polaris manual for all installation and torque specs or can I find a PSI installation manual(I couldn't find one online). I'm sure I will get some answers from PSI I just wanted to introduce myself because I might have a few questions. I plan on going thru all the threads now that I'm a member and try to not ask questions that have already been answered. I will post some pics so maybe you can let me know what I have, I think its the 900cc kit but not sure. Any info would be good, thanks guys.

    Welcome

My signature links will provide lots of basic/maintenance info.

Perhaps one of the few PSI owners on here will combine in. Give it a few days...

    Nice find.

    That is a 900cc.

Doubt you'll get much info from PSI. They really don't want much to do with their old PWC stuff any more. There was a guy named Jobie Davis that used to help me out with my set up, but unfortunately he has passed away, so we're kinda on our own.

Hope these help you out a little.

    Welcome Casman86!
Glad you found this place. This will be your best bet to find info and assistance to put this beast back together.

Was it you I've emailed a few times locally? You were looking to fix up your SL780 and found this PSI SL750... and told me how big the pistons were and I couldn't believe they were for a 750... haha.

Good luck to you. I'd love to hear how this build progresses!

    Cheers!

Hi Guys nice to get a responce, I can't wait to go through the links. Today I talked with Bruce the owner of PSI performance and he was really helpful. He said that he didn't hang on to any old kit documents. but he was able to tell me all the info I needed over the phone including all the torque specs and start-up and break-in instructions(pretty cool). He told me what type of o-rings were used and ran me through the water plumbing. I must have caught him on a good day because he was telling me stories about early races he was in and how all the systems worked. I gave him all of the info about the ski and he thought that it should be the 1000cc kit. How do I go about figuring out which it is? The new pistons are 80.40mm that has a nice ring to it. Any thoughts?
