Thread: vibration issue

I was out riding today jumping waves, doing doughnuts and wot pulls everything was great all day until all of a sudden after a few waves i noticed a vibration when i gave it more than 1/3 throttle @ 35mph. I tried rolling on a few times, but as soon as i gave it more than 1/3 throttle it would vibrate kinda like cavitating but i was moving. I looked at the intake grate and the prop everything looks fine, nothing inside. Front motor mount looks fine also. ideas?

I just had this issue on one of my RXP's this past weekend and it turned out to be a bad plug.

new plugs helped smooth my ski out as well. running et 137 with 4" kani, tweaked prop on 09 rxpx 10.9-11.2 afr at wot with riva 50s no rrfpr, stock fuel spinning 8060 in mid 90s 8100 in mid 80s weather. 25 hours so far so good.

found the problem today when i looked with more light...i had a large thorn/sticker wedged between my impeller and wear ring. looks like it spun the prop off the shaft. whats the rubber torn piece and ring in the pic?
