    Spark plugs

I've been reading quite a bit on replacing the stock cr9eb plugs on my 06 fx ho to the cr9ek and haven't been able to find anything that states whether or not they can/will potentially cause any damage to my ski. Does anyone have any experience with this and if so what benefits or drawbacks are there to using these plugs as opposed to the stock ones. Thanks!

I am using them this summer for the first time and have not had any problems.

Do you notice any difference from the stock plugs?

You should not have a problem. Many people run the CR9EK.

I did a bunch of mods, basically a stage 1 without the exhaust. Last summer I added velocity stacks and air filter. This mod definately helped the mid range power and a small top speed gain. This winter I added the plugs, ride plate, pump seal kit, prop, and intake grate. I gained a little bit on the top speed, but the ski is much more responsive and acceleration is stronger. Now, do the plugs make a significant difference? It is hard for me to say. It is difficult to get great gains from a NA engine. All of the mods put together has made a significant difference. Acceleration is way better. Rough water hook up is better. Hope this helps. Be safe on the water!

Thanks for all the responses! I'll pick up a set of the plugs and let everyone know what I think.
