Advice on purchasing a 260X
A lot of you know I had an 06 RXT that I loved. I've had zero luck finding one this season, so I expanded my search and came across an 09 Kawi 260X the thing has 32 hours on it, and looks like new. It also has the warranty until 2015. The price is about $8300 without a trailer. My questions are weather or not this ski is worth the price, and how you all think it would compare to my rxt 215?

That is a bit pricey to me....A buddy of mine just sold both of his 260's with under 25 hrs on them for 13k so he could get 300's. Not a bad ski, but for that money you could pick up an 09 RXT-X, and I saw
a 10 T-X with 40 hrs on it the other day for $9200.
How would it compare? Well, I'm no big fan of Kawasaki, but that's not a bad ski at all. The 250's had a few issues, but from what I've seen, the 260 Kawi is pretty decent. Depends on what you are doing, if you are riding really rough water often, then the 260 Kawi is decent. If you want to make any kind of real top end speed, better stick with the RXT. Just depends on what kind of water you ride honestly.
Chances are, if you were happy on that 06 RXT, then you'll be real happy on that RXT-X!
