    D-plate question

    I r&d d plate or jet works O plate whats the diff?
    looking for top end

    Dude, If I'm not mistaking, the O-Plate gives you hole shot speed but you loose top end speed & the D-Plate helps your top end a bit & also your hole shot but not too much either. I'd go with the D-Plate. That's the one I installed & I noticed the diferrence on my 1200.

    Use the Riva plate on a 1300 IMO... the opening is a little bigger than the R&D

    Billy (RX951) runs the "O" plate.

    Honestly I couldnt tell you. I dont know of anyone who has done back-to-back testing.

    Have you guys ever thought of custum made O-Plates? Diferrent O-plates with diferrent opennings & some being off-set. I drew some O-Plates on Paint & attached them below. Has anyone tried this? Tested it?...etc. Maybe it's a good idea. Size & position may help.

    I honestly dont think it would matter. The only reason it is there is for back pressure correct? So, I would assume you could cut an "X" out in it if you want and it is still going to do the same thing (as long as the blocked surface area is the same). Maybe someone has a different opinion?

    It might make a difference in how the sonic waves are passed through the pipe?
