    Neoprene seal help

    So I Just did my carbon seal and replaced the neoprene seal b/c it was smashed/miss shaped. well I had to pull the pump agin and it did the same thing to the new one it did not seal properly it looked like old one can any one help me out with a trick or any advice? I even put a little lube on it hopeing it would help go in even. Thanks

    Are you placing the seal on the pump before you install? Do you have it turned in the right direction? The tapered edge dhould face the pump shoe. I use a little silicone spray on the seal to lube it.
