Quick question on SF pump shoe insert..

Just checking.. Does the speed freeks pump shoe insert just pop in? No silicone needed? I don't see how it would budge anyway.. Also, the R&D girdle.. Any silicone needed on install? Should I silicone the back end of the intake grate to it when installing the grate? I will be installing tonight, thanks in advance for a quick reply

    TJ

I didn't use any. Insert pops right on. Rideplate holds the girdle in place and grate clamps it down

I siliconed the mating surface of the grate to prevent water getting caught and creating drag.
