    running rich. why?

I am running a Riva stage 3 and it is so rich that I'm blowing O2 sensors. What are all the possible causes of making a ski run rich? air temp sensor, ecu, etc.

when I was able to get a sensor to work for a few seconds it read in the 7's and 8's at idle. it would die shortly after.

I have a feeling you have a j pipe that is taped.. If so i have a feeling its leaking causing it to fail.. I dont think your ski will run 7-8s and if it did it will run like crap wanting to cut off.

    What size injectors..

Do u have a RRFPR? too much pressure maybe? The 02 sensors don't last long below 10.0 AFR
Does it have lots of black smoke from the exhaust?
Has your oil been changed lately?
How does it run in general?

This is a long story. I have a GPRXP and it was running rich this spring. couldn't get the rpms above 7900. Turned out the block was cracked. Put a new motor in and the rpms were back but not the speed. Lots of playing around and tweaking but no speed. The best I could do was 79 mph @ 8500 rpm. Felt like it was on the limiter. Pulled real hard to 8000 and then weak to 8500. Decided for fun to add pitch to the prop. Add 1.5 mm and my rpm went from 8500 to 8250 but my speed was 79.7. The ski starts good and runs good. Just lacking speed. Running a Riva 8650 ecu with Riva 50's.
