I'm getting ready to install my R&D Anticavitation cone, I haven't looked at the pump yet, can this be installed without pulling the pump or impeller ?

yes, just remove the venturie and streering nozzle, that would be the easiest way

You only need to remove the nozzles to get to the cone. The exit nozzle, steering nozzle, and reverse bucket can all come off as one assembly. All you have to do is disconnect the VTS, reverse, and steering linkages, siphon hose, then remove the 4 bolts on the nozzle and the 2 (maybe 4 on the FX) bolts that hold the pump support bracket on. If you still have the rubber flaps on it, I recommend removing them and put them away somewhere. It makes it a lot easier to clean and inspect without them. Put the brackets they mount to back on, though, because it helps support the pump.

Thanks guys, one more thing, will any oil or grease run out when the cone is removed? My friend told me it may hold oil or grease for lubricating the bearings.

Mine was thick enough that it didn't run out. It's a good chance to check and make sure no water has gotten into it. I changed out my oil with "slurry." Do a search for it for more info. I used synthetic grease mixed with synthetic gear oil in a mixture so it's a little thinner than the stock grease, but thick enough to stay in the cone when I put it on.
