    Engine tech water cool charge adptor

    This was test on 70-145 race charge at 9400 rpm
    air temp 91
    water temp 82
    Before adding adptor
    charge temp where
    back side of charge 230
    inlet side 210
    at pipe 210
    manifold 95
    at 22 lbs boost

    After install adptor
    air temp 91
    water temp 82
    back side 195
    inlet side 165
    at pipe 165
    manifold 93
    at 22 lbs boost 9400 rpm

    looks like you are running a GPRXP, where did you tee into for the cooling lines?

    yes gprxp for that test it was tee after the intercooler. Now it is tee before the intercooler i have not tested it this way yet got to wait til the weekend

    yeah only at the manifold, which is strange, everywhere else its a decent amount

    anything to keep under the seat temps down is a good thing though.. im sure these things will shine in colder weather

    thats how i routed mine.........i had it teed off the incoming cooler line to the bottom of the charger and pissing out the top port of the charger straight off the boat with a pisser......i let the cooler have its own pisser as well so charger gets its own fresh water feed and discharge line.....looks great.........PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am spraying methenol in the manifold so temp won't change much and the manifold is water cooled to

    Your intake readings shouldn't have been posted since you are spraying methanol into the manifold. I'm sure if you were not spraying methanol the readings would have changed drastically.

    Be interesting to see more testing of this, might grab one when i upgrade my charger if worth while.

    Does it affect installation of a 4" adaptor?
