    Power valves GP1200R

Well I'm like so totally proud of myself as I have just installed waveater clips and couplers. This is the first mechanically minded thing i've ever tackled and yes, i know it's an easy job, but i'm still proud as punch. Using cumbersome tools however was a bit of a PITA.

My question is, I noticed powervalves 1 & 2 were quite gunky, 3 was okay. So I hate knowing that that shit is in there and i want to clean them. I would like to do this myself but not overly confident without a step by step guide.... i've done a search and done heaps of trolling through threads but can't find anything specifically for a diy cleaning powervalves... can anyone help out?

i just did this last nite. pull off covers. disconnect cables. take off circlips and washers and pull rods through. unscrew set screws. pull out pv's. clean with razor blade and brake cleaner. clean the inside of pv case best as can with rags and swabs. pretty simple

Can this be done without taking off the exhaust?
