    02 f12x 52@5200 advice please!

I purchased an 02 f12x a few weeks ago and something just doesn't seem right with it! I guess the only reason I am even questioning it, Is I see everyone seems to be posting theirs going 60+ mph. I had the turbo and impeller looked over and the mechanic said they are both spotless. Like I said the max rpm's I get is 5200 and top speed 52. It purrs like a kitten, no abnormal noises and has never spit out a code. What am I missing?

I checked my wg and I can not blow threw it at idle. So I will try to free that up but as I was in there I noticed that the short hose is hooked to nothing and the longer one seemed to go to the air box. In my feeling in the dark I could feel a compression fitting that had nothing in it and the short hose seemed to be the right length to go there. If the wg is bad did it blow that hose off?

Your WGS is bad. Buy a new one. Your hose routing in fine, leave it alone.

Ok , I ordered a new WGS. You will have to ignore my ignorance but how does it work when one hose goes no where and the other goes to the air box? I am confused!

That hose is not connected to the air box, it is connected to the turbo/actuator via a "T" piece and the short hose (which is on the other side of the WGS and not connected to anything) simply vents to atmosphere or "bleeds off" the extra pressure when the ECM tells it to

Thank you for all the information! I contacted Honda east Toledo and they can no longer get the WGS and mine will not free up. Any idea where I can buy a new one? I did check the voltage and it was 4v.

Try Ebaymotors PWC parts/accessories. They are on there sometimes...

Just an update. I purchased a used WGS from eBay for next to nothing and it's a little sticky too but what do you expect from eBay. Anyways it's running around 60mph at 6000 rpm. So a big thanks to Shawn and everyone else that commented for your advice!!!
