    Kawasaki Ultra 130 Hybrid

I have a very clean 2002 Kawasaki Ultra 130 Hull in my shop. I started to part the ski out and sold the engine and EMM with Injectors. Now I am thinking this is too nice of a hull to get rid of. I have a 96 Kawasaki 1100 zxi or a 97 Yamaha GP1200 I have to Part out but I am thinking of making a conversion ski. What do you guys think would be the best set up with this Ultra 130 hull? I am thinking the Kawasaki 1100 engine carbs and electronics would be the easiest to drop in this hull. Let me know what you think or let me know of any other ideas. Have you guys ever seen anyone put any other engine in an ultra 130 or 150 hull? what about a Ultra 130 to Ultra 150 swap?

(I put this in the conversion section but I guess it must have not been the right section to post this in)

2001 ultra 130 hull with zxi 1100 engine in it so i know thats doable, the dash gauge would not read the tach signal correctly and was rough, peeling off as well so the zxi gauges went in, aftermarket fuel pickup and gauge also had to be used, wiring harness has to be modified as well, i believe all your engine sources could be modified to work though.

Mike I know this is an old thread but do you have any pictures of the ultra 130 with the zxi 110 engine? Or was this a ski that you saw online or somewhere else?

trying to do same thing have a 2001 ultra 150 w/ cooked motor, have a spare 1100 stx motor and ecu... might want to try the same thing. i know the group K guys got those hammer kits take those 1100's up in HP. the biggest problem i can see so far is the 3 point ultra motor mount system vs. the 4 point mount system of the sts stx and zxi, can i just glass in new fasteners under the belly pan??? also htose 150s use a tapered pump not a strait pump- curious how hard that is to change over or how it would run as is...
