NC 2004 Gp1300R 80mph ported ski complete or engine parts

2004 Gp1300r 80 mph ski Cheap way to go fast 3500.00 Nice looking ski in Greenville North Carolina
I'm considering selling complete, parting out, selling engine /associated ecus tank etc and using hull for conversion ski or just fixing and keeping. Right after I bought it, found a gprxp conversion project which is what I really wanted anyway and bought that as well and parts have started arriving for it so want to focus time and $$ on it. I don't mind taking a big hit on selling this if there is interest in it.

Little history I bought the ski and started goofing with the EFI settings ( my mistake) . It was set up to run any kind of fuel with head that was shaved, but not shaved and chambers cut. Had good compression accross the board but anyway I spent I think 300.00 to osidebill and installed a head to raise it to 145psi on all 3. Carried it out Sunday grinning ear to ear with acceleration and 80mph gps top speed . After several hours I burned #3 piston and limped in. Engine wasn't making any noises other than just weak. It never quit. Pressured checked the engine and its holding solid pressure, started searching for the cause and as of yet only things I found was some gunk ( wasnt much) in the #3 injector filter and crack between the intake and exhaust ports on one cylinder which others smarter than me say can be fixed for under 300.00 plus will need a piston and injectors cleaned serviced.

Stuff on the ski , a new tinytac was added when engine work was done
22 hrs since waterwoody WCP ported cylinders and engine was freshened
    Powervalves cut for porting
800 intake grate (riva or r&d)
dynafly 14/20 prop that has been pitched ( but not sure what it is now)
    Jims FF skegged plate
    5 degree advance key
    10mm reed spacer plate
    riva fuel controller
    D plate
    free flow exhaust
Head dump for cooling and dry out exhaust
2 heads both in perfect shape
1 Jims machine lathe cut and is about 140psi on stock engine 120 on this ported one
1 osidebill cut , did squish and chambers to 41cc and is 145 psi
Hull trued sanded and tuned very fast for single pipe 1300 ski

I haven't parted out anything yet and will take 3500 for ski complete ( will need 1 cylinder repaired and nik'd and injectors clean) or let me know if you have interest complete or in any of the parts

I know there is lots of stuff I'm forgetting when get home will post pics of ski and go over to see what I forgot to list.

Hopefully wfo can hook a brother up and you keep your ski! I know it's a buzz kill when shit goes wrong. Just went through it, but it's cheaper than a new 4 stroke man

The sale is on hold, I've sent off the injectors to be flow tested and cleaned as well as sent the cylinder to millennium to be renikasil'd. I'll have it back together in 2 weeks running with fresh rings on 1 and 2 and new piston in 3 along with new gaskets , seals and rod pin bearings.

Can I answer it by saying just not sure either way. I know this ski had me grinning ear to ear Sunday. It was just disgustingly fast. I know its not close to fastest skis, but for me it was awesome.

I'm having the cylinder renik'd by the best company ( even though cost a few extra dollars) and ordering new top rod bearings, gaskets, rings for all 3( only 22 hours on 1 and 2 but figured better to have them all fresh at same time, like set of tires) and new piston. I still really curious to know what happened for 100% sure ( i may not ever know) but do want to repair it right (not piece together and unload) and put a few hours on it to make sure all is right with it.
I believe it will be 100% when goes back together but if a problem, would rather it happen with me than someone else. Having said that, the brown ups toytruck is delivering lots of goodies for gprxp project and tomorrow should have everything I need to get it fired up on the hose.

If someone wants this ski....... they can get it now or after its back together and gone on a few rides to make sure it doesnt reoccur. If no interest I'll keep an eye out for a double trailer over winter and keep them both. Smiles per dollar its hard to beat a Ported GPR

Edit : haha that wasn't a very clear answer to your question was it ?
