    Need help and advice with my 04 RXP

    I am from Holland and recently bought a good looking 2004 RXP215 with 69 hours on it. The machine had huge maintenance due to a breakdown at about 67 hrs last year and would like to have some advise in regards to maintaining my machine in the near future.

    My apologies for the rubbish English, as I really don't know how to translate some technical terms. The maintenance check is in dutch.
    The prices are in EURO, which is about 1,25 USD.
    -Cilinder head (used) 825,-
    -6 x inlet valve 146,-
    -6 x outlet valve 82,-
    -1 x piston 209,-
    -1 x dist. chain 112,-
    -4 x main bearing 46,-
    -6 x main bushing 66,-
    -1 x gasket kit 132,-
    -12 x valve seals 62,-
    -1 x neoprene seal 11,-
    -1 x oil filter 13,40
    -3 x piston ring 162,-
    -1 x connecting rod 87,-
    -2 x oil sensor 73,-
    -1 x blow by walve (used) 65,-
    -4 L motor oil 52,-
    -5 L coolant 36

    Excluding labor the recovery price for this breakdown was 2759,- luckilly the previous owner paid this. Also the previous owner did some preventive maintenance.
    I also contacted the mechanic which performed the maintenance and asked some questions about the supercharger, and he told me that the SC was maintained at about 60 hours, however he was unsure if it was just the washers or a complete rebuild.

    Is there an easy way to check what has been done.

    I really appreciate any type of advice, about what to maintain and when. I would rather spend some extra money then having the machine breakdown and spending a lot of money on it. Also is there some maintenance handbook about what to maintain and interval time.

    In the second pic, the engine shot, the engine cover and oil dipstick are missing. Did you take the cover off for the pic?
    If not, do not run the ski until you get a oil dipstick

    @SplishSplash I removed the oil dipstick to get the cover off

    Damn, I am now getting a check engine light and beep now and then. Do I need to hook up the machine to Candoo at some dealer to investigate further or is there some way to get an error code?

    Hi,

    I got the error code, P1202. I see a lot of threads with this error code, in a lot cases it seems to be a broken oil pressure switch. I want to order the switch, however how safe is it to keep it running in the meantime (till I receive the switch)?
