Intercooler "bleed line / pisser" blockoff question
Just installed a 09px IC on my 12px. Just wondering what you guys have used in the past to block off the pisser / bleed line on the older cores? I used a rubber cap w/ silicone under it and then zip tied it around the nipple. I just want to be sure this will hold up. The last thing I need is my hull filling with water right before my bilge setup goes in. I don't want to have to make a hole in my ski just for the pisser because I will most likely move onto a bigger and better IC in the next year (then you can all fight over my old one ).
Thanks for the help in advance!

i would pull the barb out and put a pipe thread plug in there and be done with it

Why do want to block it off instead of using it for what it was designed for?

I am sorry but I don't understand your logic. Your replacing an inferior IC with a superb IC, but don't want to use it to its full potential. Simply T into any line that exits the ski now, like the water box lines or something else.
That pisser line ensures that the IC is full of fresh cool water all the way to the top without an air block. I would be looking for ways to let that IC take a piss!

I went with a pisser overboard so I could see the stream and make sure everything was working correctly, no water coming out something plugged or wrong,
