Buy Jet Ski's in winter time.

So I am in the market for a 4 stroke and already decided only want Yammie FX 2006 and up. Well summer is almost over and kids go back to school and was wondering how much cheaper do they get around October-February. I know there will be people that will need money and I might be able to find them much cheaper than now. I also don't mind traveling to pick up a good one.

Easily up to 2k-2.5k on my 2012 FX SHO. Later in year means less availability of colors etc. Good luck

It is usually a lot cheaper to buy a new one in the winter but I found the "used market" seems to dry up a bit after Oct/Nov in many places as folks who haven't sold them just put them away for the winter with the idea of putting them on the market in the spring. If you do find a private seller in the winter, the prices are typically low.

    Good luck in your search!

In your case, I wouldn't worry about that since you live in Florida.
Since you are after a pre-owned ski, I would focus on finding one now with a 5 year Y.E.S. warranty which can be transferred into YOUR name by any Yamaha dealer. When you find it, don't hesitate, just go for it!

Remember, here in Florida the best time for riding PWC is actually in the winter months; you get lots of sunshine and weather in the 70's -- and no daily thunderstorms!
