    wont stop cranking

    97 spx wont stop cranking as soon as fuse is put in rear elec box it starts cranking and wont stop untill fuse is pulled .disconnected the start stop button and still the same result. what could cause this ? i changed out the solenoid today also . im confused

    Probally the start switch is old, gummy and stuck. pretty easy fix....... cheap too.

    Replace your starter solonoid,

    Replaced both.thinking stator short
