Where is the HSN on a 1200 ltd?

Really stupid question as the ski is not in front of me, at the lake or I would look. The guy who built the motor before me did completely rebuilt the carbs and tune them so the caps should be drilled out. I know it is a really dumb question, but where is the HSN? Is it accessible easily, in other words is it on top of the carb when you take the seat off? Sorry for such a newbie question, just need to know if it is not so I can bring tools out to the lake this weekend?

Yes they are on the top of the carbs, but just because they were rebuilt does not necessarily mean the tamper caps were removed. Also the #3 carb is under the exhaust bracket and not accesible.

Okay, so I should have no problems taking off the seat and being able to adjust #1 and #2. I will take off the bracket and richen it up a bit if they have been drilled.

I am thinking that I am going to put flame arrestors on anyway soon and rejet to your specs anyway Bill. That is if I can stop riding it for a weekend to do it!!!!
