Bigger engine for a 1997 GP can it be upgraded to a bigger engine?

I would like to put a bigger engine on a 1997 wave runner. It currently has the 760 64x. But I would like to upgrade to the 3 cilinder like the one on the GP 1200. Is that possible and what other parts do I need to replace? Also, how expensive would it be? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

it is possible. You'd need the engine, carbs, electronics, intermediate shaft, and and the bigger jet pump.
