Thread: Jetworks mod?

A friend of mine has a GPR with this Jetworks mod that re-routes water from the water box to exit outside of the ski above a certain RPM. I think it's like 3k rpms. It's supposed to give you a better hole shot i belive.

I guess no one has a clue what i'm talking about. It's supposed to dry out the water box at a certain RPM. I guess i'll have to find more out about it then post.

I have the mod on my yamaha. It does not alow water into the water box untill you get to the pre set rpm typically 3500rpm's. This makes the bike lighter on exceleration.

I installed one of those on my 97 1/2 GSXL and was quite happy w/ the results. Better hole shot and seemed to have higher top end. No GPS at the time. I think it cost me about $300 & I installed it myself.

I installed a jet works mod on my friends 01 gp1200r ,it mad a huge difference on accelleration.Top speed about the same, you can adjust the valve to what rpm you want the water to start running,I adjusted the valve to have the water start running at 3000 rpm.The ski hole shots 2-3 ski lengths harder,we used another ski side by side before and after the install for comparison. You will be very happy with jetworks mod, crisp accelleration.

Its strange i've never heard anyone talk about installing it on a 4-Tech ski yet. I wonder if it's just a 2 stroke thing.
