my new to me sl900 had a dead battery today on my first ride attempt.....I jumped it and it started then died....and stalled.....I am now slow charging the battery....which is new! when I reattach the pos /neg wires I hear a noise by the stern.....and I am not sure if that is just normal or if something is slow draining my battery.... I definitely don't want to be dead in the water! any suggestions on what to try. I checked the battery....could a ground wire or something he off? I'm a newbie....not too mechanical?)!

The noise you are hearing may be the bilge pump running. It should only run if the engine is running. If it is running with the engine off, it is either wired incorrectly, or the LR module is bad. The bilge pump is located near the battery in the SL 900.

Sounds like the Lr23 module in your electric box. This just happened to me. Look at K447 signature links the info is there. I had to buy one off eBay. This solved my problem
