    Overheating!

    Guys
I have a 2008 Kawasaki STX F15 with 13 hours on it. When I hook a garden hose to it it will run fine, no heating problems. However as soon as put it in the water with in 2 min (I timed it) steams comes out the pee hole, and the overheating alarm comes on. Any ideas what I'm missing. It runs great on the hose.

    Thanks
    Swamp Kaw

Check the little manifold above the jet pump for debris. You remove it by undoing 2 10 mm bolts and loosening the 2 hose clamps.

I asked not to because it clutters it up but I also try to help people. The 2 aren't mutually exclusive. If I could I would move the threads.
