R&D R2 vs V-Tech reflash for VXR
Do these perform about the same? Both $750, but the Greenhulk discount would actually make the R&D $75 less, right? Are the a/f numbers typically spot on or do you guys monitor with a wideband?

I do not think the discount applies to the flash!
If you are running the oem or a low boost wheel your a/f should be safe, but it is wise to run one to be certain.
The ethanol percent in the fuel might make a difference in the overall afr.

The one thing I notice is you get 100 more RPMs with the V-Tech in terms of where the rev limiter is. From using the old Rotax Racing ECUs with the boosted SeaDoos back in 04-06, I learned that more RPMs typically means more fun. Even if we tweaked the skis where the top speeds were the same between 8150 and 8400 RPMs, the way two skis felt in terms of seat of the pants was night and day. A high rev'ing ski just feels funner to ride. I'm trying to hit the 8300 mark with my V-Tech reflashed ECU on my VXS for that reason.
Also, if you look at the VXR mods database, to two fastest skis (Jerry when he was N/A and Big John) are both running V-Techs as well.
