How to add aftermarket bars to stock VXR mounts!!

Not really, but this is what I did to get the look for less than $100. Click image for larger version.

These are actually the stock bars painted black, fitted with Protaper cross bar and pad, new grips, and mounting hardware. Mounts were also painted flat black. Total was less than $100. Again, this is purely cosmetic...no performance gain over stock.

Very nice! My kiddo wants that done to her ski. Can you link us what parts are needed to do this? Thanks!

I've seen these bars first hand. They look good. The idea to have to spend $400 for Riva or another system just to mount bars for appearance is to expensive for most average Rec riders.

    Good job Aaron.

Thanks. I will say that the Riva system looks better and offers the ability to change the steering rate and mount wider (32") bars, but I was able to get 90% of the look for hundreds less. I'm surprised that someone has not released 32" bars that will fit the stock mounts.
