    switched coil still no spark

I have a 03 DI that has a coil problem. I switched the coils but the same spark plug will not spark. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Don't know DI motors but it should still have a pick up near the stator. I think the ohm reading to it 200-250. You can download the shop manuals free .If you can follow a diagram It would show you pins to test on harness. The eventually go to MEPM . Pickup could of gotten knocked off by broken bendix tooth common problem if someone double clicks stop / start button while running.

OOPS re read your post ""one plug"" ...Did you try unscrewing plug boot and cutting off around 3/16 off reconnecting / swap plugs?

I did not try cutting off the boot but it did not matter. I switched them back and the same thing happened. The pto only fires. I wll try to swap my mpem with my gtx di and report back.
