    fzr ride plates??

so im looking for ride plates, theres alot of threads about them, and every one basicly says vx plate for speed, im gussing the vxr plate is a diffrent but better plate then the standed vx plate??

dose that mean if i buy a VXR plate but one from RnD or riva it will be qwicker then the stock vx plate??? basicly i want the fastest plate i can buy,

as the RnD/ riva plates are more for handling then speed,

Get a VX plate modded by Jim.............

VX and VXR plate are the same. The fastest plate is going to be the modded VX plate, but you give up handling in chop over the FZ plate. The new Farthing plate looks to be the way to go, as it handles well and appears to be close to the stock VX/VXR plate in speed. I'm leaning that direction for my VXR.

Depends on where and how you ride. Some have superior speed, some have superior handling, and from the looks of it, the Farthing plate offers the best of both worlds. Once I see some results for the Farting plate on the FZR, I might be selling my Worx plate and R&D plate so I don't have to swap back and forth for different conditions.

Has anyone tried an FZR plate on a VXR like for CC (*assuming it fits)? Searched w/no luck.. unless I missed something.

My guess is that the FZ plate would slow down the VX a little, given that the VX plate on an FZ gains about 3 MPH. It might also improve handling slightly. I haven't seen anything about anyone trying an FZ plate on a VX.

Just thinking out loud but I would check with Jim to se if you can mod the farthing plate. If you can you would have the best of both worlds.

He modded one as a prototype, and the unmodded Farthing plate did better than the modded one. I'm sure after a little trial and error, he'll get it worked out. The Farthing plate is already the best of both worlds...it's faster than stock and handles well.
