    sl750 choke

    Hi Everyone,

First time poster here. I have had my SL750 for over a year now and have a very basic question today. Is the choke mechanism supposed to be spring loaded to stay in the run hot position? (Carb choke open) I have never seen a choke that won't just stay in the cold position until you manually push the knob back into the run hot position. It just seems like it would be better to have a third hand when starting this ski cold.

    Thanks,
    Tom

Yes it is under spring tension. I use my one hand on the choke and start button and use the other hand to operate the throttle.
