    Lightly Modded VXS vs. Stock Kawasaki 300x

    There has been some question about how these skis would run against each other. Today, we got a chance to check it out. My daughter raced a stock 300x from a holeshot on her lightly modded VXS. My daughter slightly pulled the 300x out of the hole and walked away from there. Half way through the race, I remembered that I had my brand spanking new GoPro on the ski, so I let off the throttle and turned it on just to catch the end of it as my daughter kept putting boat lengths the 300x.

    This is the second race between them. The first was one from a rolling start and the VXS walked away. We figured we'd race the 300x from a holeshot so he could show off how quick the supercharged Kawi was compared to the N/A VXS. We were all really surprised when my daughter holeshotted the 300x as well. Definitely didn't see that one coming. Also notice there is no WOT bounce on either VXS. I have to admit the 300X pretty handily stomped the two stock VXRs in our group though, but didn't fare as well against the modded VXS.

    Looks like she's having a blast; I remember the first time my daughter spanked a stock 300X;
    I don't think the guy was too happy...

    This thread may not end productively...

    Just saw the video in the creek. Very different around here. Eanyting that small would be no wake because of erosion. Wild to see a ski in there ripping along.

    Cool, Jarrett, that was fun.

    No thank you! That's only a few inches of water between mother earth and that 11k ski.

    I don't know much about them. It's the Hero2. It does HD. You should see the original video of the creek run before Youtube jacked it all up. It was nice and clear.
