If you have not crank it yet. Please don't until you read what I have to say. We are in the same situation. I have not crank my 2004 RXP for over a year + Butt I took precautions before I parked it. I open the spark plug holes and flood the cylinders with XPS SeaDoo lubricant, I crank it without the spark plugs = No load. I ride salt water and I know I got lots of corrosion going on. right now my steering cable is locked up. To make the story short, my plan is to move my engine manually slowly by hand and not use the ski starter. The reason is, when engine components sits for a while, they tend to bind up. The worst thing you can do is hit the starter button. the weakest point of the engine and whats down the line will break. If you have started it already and everything is find, then don't worry about it. just take what I posted FYI. good luck. BTW what happen to your SC....gone for 8 months?
