    2010 RXT-X 260 BUDS update

Hey, everyone, just wondering if anyone knew what the new updates are to the BUDS system on the RXT-X 260 (2010). Just curious, cause I am due for supercharger rebuild and these updates need to be done as well.

beerdart, this is all good info but, what specifically is changed in the cluster, iBr, and ECM updates? Do we NEED these updates or are they minor tweaks???

The only issue I continue to deal with the damn DESS post being a PITA at times.

This is interesting, as when my ski was printed out, it showed that the only BUDS updates not done to it was the DESS, and it has not been scanned since it was delivered new.

I haven't had any key issues since the update. My iBR does seem to be placed in in a better "neutral" spot. I have eco mode now(or is that the flash?).

There is a cluster software update and on some models, it includes a engine firmware update....But we wont know till we hook your ski to BUDS...Some have had these updates already, this new version of BUDS has been out for about 4 months or more

Well figure out what the new ECO-mode for the update on my 2010 RXT-X. I have had it all summer and never knew what it did. When you select ECO-mode, you still have the option for touring or sport mode and they act the same for which ever mode your in, but the ECO limits the ski to 6000 rpm/45 mph. When I selected it and didnt think anything happened until I could not go over 6000 rpm. I then switched between touring and sport thinking something was wrong and got the pickup sport and slow roll with tour, but neither would go over 6000 rpm until I deselected ECO-mode. So there it its and I also hit 103hrs this weekend and still running strong.
