My wife and I headed down to the Outer Banks of North Carolina for the weekend. Me for some pullage and her for some beach and biking. We both got what we wanted! Both days I dropped my jet ski in at Teach's Lair and departed Hatteras Inlet around sunrise. I was by myself so I only went about 25 miles offshore each day. I hit a couple of wrecks and Diamond shoals light, catching some nice Amberjack jigging and several sea bass and triggerfish on the bottom. I also trolled for a while each day and lost a couple of small Mahi. Both days I was back by 1300 hrs, I picked up my wife and cruised around the sound stopping to take a couple of pictures. I covered 150 miles over two days and burned 28 gallons. So far I have put 120 hours on my new Yamaha FXHO that I got this spring. I have about another 160 hours on my other ones this year. Here are some pictures from last weekend.
