I am using the Innovate MTX-L Wideband Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge gauge in my glove box and it is not water proof, it is not even water resistant to salt water, I try and keep water from splashing on it during testing but it is impossible,
the cheesy plastic cover does not keep water out at all, I am constantly taking the cover off and cleaning the light diodes to keep them working,
I wish when a company says they stand behind there product they mean it,

From What I have Heard AEM are known to not be that reliable in the watercrafts... They are nice gauges though..

    Try prosport gauges,

You can seal the lip on them using just some 2k clear.
Then just silicone the rear of the gauge
