Loose steering issue...........and some good news about my ibr

First, the good news. I found a dealer over in Bradenton that knew about the ibr issues the 2010's were having. Mine was backing up in neutral pretty bad. Therefore, it was taken care of without cost to me and now she pretty much sits still with a very minor backwards creep after a couple of minutes. In short, I'm happy with the results.

But the steering was off kilter. I could see the nozzle point towards the port side with the handle bars straight (no biggie to adjust), but as I was riding throughout the day the steering developed a lot of play. Now I am free to take the ski back, the dealer already invited me back, but it's a long drive that I'm trying to avoid if possible. I'm assuming the linkage or something is loose and am looking for guidance/pics etc... I took a look in my engine bay and I can't see a damn thing in there because it's so crowded. I haven't sat down behind the pump yet to adjust things either, but I will. Maybe that could solve both issues.

    Thoughts and such???

Not sure about the access on the IS models but there are two places to adjust.
MAJOR = under the steering column
MINOR = the steering linkage next to the nozzle.

    BTW...look familiar?

    FYI

you should be able to adjust neutral on your own. With the ski running and in neutral, push either up or down on the ride handlebar and the dash should prompt your for neutral adjustment.

I know the 2012 PX has that, but I don't...unless I'm missing something.

Looks very familiar. I know I need to get to the nozzle, as that is definitely out of wack, but I'm more concerned with how loose the handlebars got while riding. I'm hoping that can get solved back there as well. If I fail to get it right, the dealer already offered to fix it free. Just trying to avoid the drive.

I'll look into that, but I thought they already were up to 3.3.5. I got an update last year so I could use the Riva Speed Limiter bypass module. I probably won't get to even look at my steering issue until Saturday though.

I just realized my version was 3.0.3.5. Looks like I'm heading to the dealer.

Sorry to hijack, but how do you know you have the nozzle straight? I adjusted my steering, under the column, and it looked pretty straight to me but still is pulling to the right. Do you guys just adjust, test, adjust, test, until you get it or is something else amiss? 2011 RXT

    Thanks,
