Oh no, the RXP-X is now quicker. HELP

    Bad situation guys!

My mate has modded his 2012 RXP-X 260 RS and it's now maybe 2mph quicker than me on smooth water... bastard!

He's gone all out, exhaust, intake and tune.

I was running 75mph+ today (stock + SCOM) but he was running around 77!! DAMN IT

    I've got to find 2mph guys...HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!!!

    What can I do?

    Cheers, Mal.

PS. Don't tell him I'm here asking these questions otherwise he'll be here bragging again

you could always take him to some real rough water and show him just how slow 75 is....

im convinced these ski's hit a wall around 75 and an even larger wall that will take some major HP to pull past 78 on a consistant basis.... but im curious what others have to say.

there are ways to keep up with your buddy , but you gonna have to crack the engine to do it reliably ,also some of the other ways of getting those speed WILL sacrifice other areas which u wont like either

but dont forget that he can only do that speed on glassy water , So I say just dont race unless you got the ripples you need

    Waz

Yeah, the 300x was slightly quicker across the bay today (had to smile about that) but once we got to the river, different story.

    Very keen on ideas! Cheers.

hey mal but just think of all those $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ he had to spend to do it, same with the rxtx260rs, we may ride a barge but it is also the cheapest ski to mod to get to our happy speed.
btw get the prop, like i said borrow mine first (try before you buy option) i wont be needing it for atleast 2months min.

umm i was reffering to all the other mods you also have, they all add up, kev done the same to me at the b2b i was always quicker until he reflashed but all those other extras add up. the 300 only requires the $150 scom for consistant 75mph ski
