2001 1200 XLT just laying around

Got my hands on a 2001 1200XLT that has been in a garage for over four years. I was told it was winterized by a shop then stored in the garage and never used again. The gas tank is about 65-70% full. Can I put some stabilizer or seafoam in the tank or should I attempt to drain old gas before initial start up. thanks

I would def drain that old fuel out. I'd also replace fuel lines and filter. I would also tear carbs done, clean and rebuild.

You just have to believe that the old fuel is all gummed up in the carbs, plugging jets and sticking N&S's.
