    Kawasaki Ultra 300X Paint :(

    Hi guys,
I've had my 300x for about 7 months now and put around 25 hours on it. It has always been garaged in an open space and never left tied up to a wharf or pylon. But I've been noticing all the scratches in the black deck and even a chip or two in the paint. I was wondering if anyone else has found the paint as weak as i have. And how can i easily fix this?
    Cheers
    Chad

Can you post some pics showing exact location and details of the damages?

Hi sorry i would but i don't keep my ski at my home, but the scratches are on the ebony black deck only and the chip is located in the area highlighted in the picture attached of someones ski. The scratches aren't deep but the paint is weak.Click image for larger version.

Watch the back of the ski when you dock, that part of mine always slides under when I get to close. That's how I got all my scratches exactly where you highlighted yours

Im thinking of buying the touch up paint to fix it up but is there allot of effort involved to paint it?

That's completely normal as mike said dock dings. not really the fault of the paint. Paint it then buy some hydro turf and cut it to Fit those areas. No more dings

Yeh i suppose but the other scratches i don't no where they came from. But when painting it do you have to sand it and everything because i can't be stuffed to go to that effort. :P

Funny ....same thing...there certainly not dock dings....my buy was a floor model but I examined closely and didn't recall them...they were on the back on the stern platform...just used a standard car touchup..ill post some pics later...
