    * Locktite ? Seadoo hood relacement.. V shape

Im replacing the front hood / cover on my 2002 RXDI.. After I took the 17 screws out , it was still attached .. After breaking the bond, I noticed there is a 12" bead of glue or locktite up in the front .. shaped like a V . I noticed off the OEM parts sites, this is a tube of locktite that goes for $60.00 ..

Does anyone know what else could be used in its place? The only locktite Ive ever known is blue or red in color and in a little 2" bottle.. This stuff must be out of a caulking gun of some sort. I would appreciate any good feedback, as I will be assembling the new hood shortly.

Thank You in advance ! Click image for larger version.
