Ecu relocation to avoid heat? f12x 2002

I had a code 25, I know its not 100% sure its about heath but would relocate the ecm be a good idea? its right next to the intake/intercooler.

Also would it be a good idea to change the air filter for a 2004+ ? this filter sucks.

Relocating is a good idea but it might be too late for your current ECM. A K&N 2" inlet mounted directly onto the turbo inlet is good. Mac sells them.

Where/how are you guys relocating the ecu? It w/b restricted by the length of the wiring. I'd sure hate to cut/splice all of them. Not to mention the potential integrity failures involved.

put it on top of the gas tank. Use the stock gas tank straps to hold it.

    Easy.
