    anybody have a cut head on a gpr 1300 ?

    i have a 2005 gpr 1300 which is totally stock at this point. it seems that cutting the head would be a nice and easy mod to do and still run 91 octane pump gas. anybody done this without a bunch of other mods ? i'm looking for a little more snap off the throttle. i have done a pump kit to fill in the voids. i am trying to keep reliability. motor has 110 hours if that makes a difference.

    i can take your stock or w/o let me know. you will need a efi controller. got one as well.

    i meant does anybody have experience with a cut head, is it reliable ( that is on its own without a lot of other mods ), how much does it cost, can it run on 91 octane, does my engine have too much time on it ? i have a controller.

    Yes it's a safe, reliable cost effective mod.nA boost in compression will help you turn a bigger prop, so doing it by itself you probably won't see super gains. Talk to Oside Bill, he will set you up with a head.
