    What year RXPX?
What is your RPMs? I would think low since you didn't do any air intake mods.
Are you running a VTS adjustable rod?
Trim all the way down for speed run? Doesn't make sense to me.

It's an 08 no extension rod and yea I messed up with the trim but Idk if that made much of a difference. I think rpms were around 7900 area. First speed run so I just learning with this

    Normal? NO.

You will find much better performance with 83-84mm nozzle rings. Trim should be UP to 75-90% for best speed and performance. The only time you want the trim down to around 25% is for a stand still hole shot. Trim makes a huge difference in rpms and overall performance.

You need to be using 4" air intake vice stock.

Your rpms need to up around 8100-8160.

Like JPT7779 said, trim should be a click or two above middle for max speed. As for rpm, I am at 8180 - 8200 with stock prop and 85mm nozzle. 2010 rxp-x Approx 74 mph.

'11 RXP X with 10 hours, R&D intake grate and no other mods-69.5. I was really expecting more till I seen it was 106* air temp and 91* water. Trim set 2 clicks above neutral. 7900 RPMs and 1064 elevation.

Doubt it is really a "slow one". Need to get the trim set correctly, makes a huge difference in speed as others have posted. If I were you, this is what I would do next,

    4" air intake,
    http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...oducts_id=1160

    Trim extension rod

83mm ring or stock RXP venturi, been proven by some of the guys here

Catch can- Riva or the Fizzle both work well. If you are up to it there is a "how to" on making your own. Need this if going to the 4" Fizz type Kanaflex air intake.

The air intake and proper use of the trim is the biggest performance killers I can see that you have now. If you have not filled the ride plate holes that will help also.

And you did not end up with the Closed Course R&D grate by chance ?
